Inverse Lomax Frechet Distribution with Applications

<title>Abstract</title> <p>In this paper, we introduced the Inverse Lomax Frechet (ILF) distribution, a new four parameter continuous probability model obtained by compounding the Frechet distribution with the Inverse Lomax Generalized (IL-G) family of distributions. The statistical properties of the proposed distribution, including its CDF, PDF and quantile function, are derived and the validity of the density is established. Maximum likelihood Estimation is employed to estimate the model parameters, and the associated score equations are derived. The flexibility and practical relevance of the ILF distribution are demonstrated through its application to two real life dataset with the proposed distribution showing superior fit.</p>
