Abstract

<title>Abstract</title> <p>In this work, we study a superconducting nano/bridge in the presence of an external magnetic field and laterally applied currents. A specific number of symmetrically spaced subdivisions has been introduced into the system (we will call them legs). With this, we compute the main electronic variables, such as the magnetization and the scalar potential, as functions of the applied external current for a fixed external magnetic field and as functions of the external magnetic fields for a fixed external current. Due to this variation, we will study, in separate sections, the behavior of Abrikosov and kinematic vortices; for a second variation, we study the different values of the first Shapiro step that are observed. Subsequently, we present the Cooper pair density and the total current in the superconducting sample, together with the phase of the superconductor condensate. These results allow us to understand the influence of vortices in the mesoscale sample and how these subdivisions increase or decrease the first critical currents and the number of vortices in the sample, establishing a valid proposal for organized control of the fluxoids in the superconducting meso-sample.</p>
