Abstract

<jats:p>Purpose. This article aims to analyze the process of formation and evolution of psychological profiling at the Law Faculty of Lomonosov Moscow State University. The focus is on the historical context of the emergence and development of this discipline, as well as its current prospects in the context of globalization and technological progress. This work provides a comprehensive analysis that includes the study of the genesis of profiling and its methodological foundations. Special attention is given to the interdisciplinary approach that integrates philosophical concepts of consciousness, theoretical principles of differential psychology, and applied aspects of criminology. Methodology: dialectics, analysis, synthesis, deduction, hermeneutics, synergetics, philosophical conceptology. Conclusions. The study provides a detailed analysis of modern educational programs implemented at the Law Faculty of Moscow State University in the field of profiling. It identifies their key innovative characteristics based on practice-oriented learning and the use of distance educational technologies. Scientific and practical significance. The institutionalization of profiling at the Law Faculty of Moscow State University is a significant example of successful integration of interdisciplinary research into the educational process. This experience helps to bridge the gap between academic research and practical applications, as well as to develop new methodological approaches in the field of psychological profiling.</jats:p>
