Methods for Determining the Centric Jaw Relation: An Educational Manual

<jats:p>This study guide provides detailed information on methods for determining centric jaw relation, including both traditional and modern digital approaches. It presents various ways to determine the position of the mandible in the sagittal, transversal, and vertical dimensions. Specific focus is given to the anatomical-functional and functional-physiological methods for determining centric relation, along with the transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation method. Clinical cases of patients with temporomandibular joint disorders are described. The guide complies with the current state educational standards of higher education for the specialty 31.05.03 “Dentistry.” It has been developed in accordance with the curriculum requirements for Prosthetic Dentistry and Orthodontics. The guide is intended for residents training in prosthetic dentistry and orthodontics, practicing prosthodontists and orthodontists, and for senior students of dentistry departments.</jats:p>
