Abstract
<jats:p><p><strong>Context and relevance.</strong> The article is devoted to the problem of inclusion of students in patriotic work, organized with children in the conditions of children's camps, the issues of the associated state of their psychological well-being and readiness to respond to the challenges of the present in the process of performing a strategically significant type of activity &ndash; the implementation of the tasks of educational work. <strong>Objective. </strong>The aim is to analyze and identify predictors of psychological well-being of students participating in the implementation of the tasks of patriotic education of children in the conditions of a children's camp. <strong>Hypothesis.</strong> The inclusion of student youth in patriotic work with children is in correlation with the state of their psychological well-being. <strong>Methods and materials.</strong> The research methods include the analysis of scientific and practical sources on the problem under consideration, deductive and inductive methods, logical forecasting, observation, data analysis, and surveys. <strong>Results.</strong> The psychological well-being of students in this context is determined by their readiness to carry out activities in the field under consideration, as well as by a combination of worldview and personal positions. <strong>Conclusions.</strong> The materials of this article may be of interest to employees of psychological services, organizations engaged in patriotic work, including with students, as well as children who are in organizations for children's recreation and health improvement.</p></jats:p>
