<p>This protocol describes methods for transplanting adult seagrass plants into laboratory nursery tanks following collection from field sites. Steps describe the preparation of planting pots, sediments or other substrate to be used for growing plants, and physically transplanting individual seagrass plants into the newly prepared substrate, as well as labeling individual plants if they are to be tracked through a research experiment.</p>
