Abstract

<jats:p>The aims of the study are to explore issues of socio-humanitarian examination of the development of artificial intelligence and to consider how historical and philosophical contexts shape the perception of AI and its ethical aspects. Methodological basis of the study. The methodological basis of the study is the author’s analysis of scientific data in the historical context with the definition of approaches to the socio-humanitarian expertise of AI development. Research result. The authors summarize the socio-humanitarian problems of artificial intelligence development and identify the need for a comprehensive approach to the integration of new technologies into public life. The philosophical aspects studied in the framework of this work demonstrate that the issues of the essence of reason, ethics and responsibility in the creation and use of artificial intelligence require close attention. The prospects of the research. The perspectives and challenges identified in the paper point to the need to develop recommendations for socio-humanitarian expertise. Successful examples of artificial intelligence implementation show that it is possible to create positive social impact if guided by the principles of sustainability, ethics and inclusiveness.</jats:p>
