Abstract

<jats:p>Urban biodiversity is particularly threatened by the inner development of towns and cities. Valentin Rodens study evaluates the ability of legal instruments, both in German town planning and conservation laws, to achieve a sustainable balance between the goals of biodiversity and the development of urban inner spaces.</jats:p>
