The evolution of monetary policy in Ukraine and its impact on economic development

<jats:p>The monograph explores the economic essence of monetary policy, and its role and impact on the development of national economy. Considerable attention is focused on the evolutionary processes that Ukraine’s monetary policy has undergone after the country gained independence. The authors present their vision of the impact of monetary policy on Ukraine’s economy over the past thirty-five years. In a historical retrospective, the monograph studies the impact of shock transformations in monetary policy on this country’s economic development. Further ways of improving Ukraine’s monetary policy are outlined in view of growing geopolitical risks and European integration aspirations.</jats:p>
