Konwenty żeńskie w średniowiecznym województwie krakowskim: Studium prozopograficzne (2 połowa XII – 2 połowa XVI wieku)

<jats:p>CONVENTS IN THE MEDIEVAL KRAKOW PROVINCE: PROSOPOGRAPHICAL STUDY (2ND HALF OF THE 12TH CENTURY – 2ND HALF OF THE 16TH CENTURY) This dissertation deals with the issues of female monasteries from theterritory of the Krakow Voivodeship, i.e. the Norbertine nuns from Zwierzyniecand Imbramowice, the Benedictine nuns from Staniątki, the canonsof Monastery of the Holy Spirit de Saxia in Kraków, Poor Clares fromKraków and Stary Sącz, as well as the convent of the Bernardine Sistersliving at the Church of St. Agnieszka in Stradom. The work tries to showthe personal composition of particular convents and get the knowledgeabout them, which will allow to look at many important issues related tomonastic life.</jats:p>
