Abstract

The article examines the relationship between criteria and indicators of personal time management among employees of investigative units of internal affairs bodies. The analysis uses the emotional criterion, which includes indicators characterizing professional burnout of employees, the professional-age criterion, which includes indicators characterizing the biopsychological age and specifics of the professional activity of investigators, and the personal-temporal criterion, the indicators of which are selected from the point of view of three spatio-temporal value-semantic modalities, where "life line", "life perspective" and "life position". The study sample consisted of 75 employees of investigative units aged 22 to 51 years. Based on the conducted correlation analysis, no statistically significant relationships were found between the indicator of the professional-age criterion "need for self-development" (PVS) and the indicators of the emotional criterion "reduction of professional duties" (RPD) and "emotional detachment" (ED); the indicators of the emotional criterion "depersonalization" (D), "being trapped in a cage" (ZVK), "emotional detachment" (ED) and the indicators of the "Life position" modality of the personal-temporal criterion; between the indicators of the personal-temporal criterion "material reasons" (MR) and "positive past" (PPoZ) and all indicators of the emotional criterion. The results of the analysis revealed more than 20 reliable relationships between indicators of professional burnout and personal time management, such as "emotional exhaustion" and "personal time competence"; "dissatisfaction with oneself" and "expected retirement age"; "reduction of personal achievements" and "volitional self-regulation", "self-regulation", "perseverance" and "overall job satisfaction, etc. These relationships between the indicators characterizing professional burnout of an individual and the indicators of personal time management of the subjects indicate that we have selected valid methodological tools for studying these phenomena, and also confirm the adequacy of the methodological tools used. The identified indicators allow us to reliably interpret the results of experimental studies in this area in the future.
