Abstract

This article presents an analysis of the psychological content of the “Logic” aspect in A.Yu. Afanasyev’s psychosophy using contemporary constructs of metacognitive psychology. The aspect is interpreted as a system of stable individual differences in the regulation of cognitive activity and attitudes toward the thinking process. Based on correlational and factor analyses conducted on two independent samples, statistically significant relationships were identified between psychosophical scales and indicators of metacognitive awareness, metacognitive beliefs, and actively open-minded thinking. These findings contribute to a clearer empirical interpretation of the “Logic” aspect.
