Abstract

The monograph is devoted to topical issues of transformation of the economic mechanism of Russia in the context of sanctions. Since 2014, a number of countries, including the United States, Britain and the EU, have introduced a wide range of restrictive measures aimed at exerting pressure on Russia's political leadership in the context of increasing geopolitical tensions around Ukraine. Economic effects at the micro and macro levels are considered as factors of structural changes in the economy. They are based on the need to adapt to external shocks and the search for new sources of growth, including the development of industries focused on import substitution, ensuring financial security and national defense of the country. It is recommended for study by government officials responsible for making decisions in the economic policy of the Russian Federation, experts in the field of economic activity, researchers, students of specialized universities, as well as anyone who is interested in the issue under consideration.
