Abstract
<jats:p>The monograph is the second comprehensive study in modern Russian science that combines the general theoretical problems of legal hermeneutics with the problems of the science of criminal law. The previous study was conducted by O.V. Pycheva in 2005. The first part of the book analyzes the functional-teleological way of interpreting legal norms and the possibility of its application in complex cases of interpretation of criminal law norms. It is primarily addressed to students, undergraduates and postgraduates of law schools and faculties. Perhaps it will also be useful for those whose scientific, teaching or practical activities are related to the interpretation of the norms of Russian criminal law.
