Abstract
<jats:p>The textbook is intended to study the regulatory framework, types and procedures for the use of various special tools used by law enforcement officers in the course of their official duties. The legal aspects and tactical features of the use of special means, weapons, transport and technical means, communications and personal protective equipment are considered. Special attention is paid to restrictions related to their application, including the rights and freedoms of citizens, the principles of proportionality and necessity. Meets the requirements of the latest generation of federal state educational standards for higher education. It is intended for employees of law enforcement agencies, teachers and cadets of educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as for anyone who is interested in the legal regulation of the use of special means in law enforcement activities.</jats:p>
