Abstract
<jats:p>The textbook reveals the main forms, methods and methods of ensuring road safety and provides their detailed characteristics in the volume necessary for the training of drivers of vehicles of categories "M", "A", "B". Based on the systematization of regulatory material and the analysis of judicial practice, using illustrative examples, the effect of legal norms of Traffic rules and the specifics of legal regulation of certain public relations in the field of traffic are described in order to form students' necessary knowledge about traffic regulation, technical regulation of the operation of motor vehicles and their management. It corresponds to the approximate professional training programs for drivers of vehicles of categories "M", "A", "B" (basic cycle), approved by the order of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation dated November 8, 2021 No. 808. For use in the preparation of candidates for obtaining a driver's license for driving vehicles of categories "M", "A", "B", studying in educational institutions of additional professional education, in the training of students and cadets of educational institutions of secondary vocational education and higher education in the discipline "Automotive training" of the training module "Training of drivers of vehicles category "B"".</jats:p>
