Abstract

The article discusses the problem of schoolchildren’s safety on the roads, the relevance of which is confirmed by the high rates of injuries and deaths of children in road accidents. It is emphasized that relying only on traditional means of forming a culture of safe behavior on the roads does not bring significant results. The possibility of using interactive forms of organizing this process, in particular modeling road situations, is considered. The author draws attention to the illustrative situations he developed, presented in the visual form of drawings, photos and videos, which allow younger students to critically evaluate behavior on the roads.
