Abstract
This chapter examines how Queen Mary University of London’s (QMUL) Library Service used a major preservation project as an opportunity to enhance accessibility, study spaces, and well-being support through structured student collaboration. Employing blended engagement methods, including in-person feedback sessions and online tools, the library collected user feedback on key themes. The findings informed an action plan for both immediate and long-term improvements. The project highlights how proactive consultation, thematic analysis, and closing the feedback loop can foster inclusive, user-led library environments while respecting the constraints of a historic building.
