<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title> <jats:p>This chapter discusses Watergate, including Kissinger’s assertion that he never attended a meeting where Watergate was discussed, the administration’s wiretaps of officials and journalists, Nixon’s leaking of wiretaps by Robert Kennedy, Kissinger’s denials that he requested any wiretaps, including of Morton Halperin, Halperin’s lawsuit against Kissinger and others for wiretapping him, Kissinger’s denials that he knew about the Plumbers or that his former assistant David Young worked for them, and an administration counterattack on John Dean. The chapter also discusses Nixon’s summit with Leonid Brezhnev, a Soviet grain deal, the funding cutoff for bombing Cambodia, Irving Lazar’s pursuit of Kissinger’s memoirs, Nixon’s pneumonia, reports that Kissinger would become secretary of state, and the disclosure of Nixon’s taping system. And it discusses the secret bombing of Cambodia and false-reporting system for it, along with Kissinger’s claims of ignorance of the system and denials that he ever discussed the reporting or ordered false reporting.</jats:p>
