<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title> <jats:p>This chapter focuses on the film Spagna ’68 by Spanish militant filmmaker Helena Lumbreras. Produced by the Italian Communist Party and shot clandestinely in Spain in 1968, Spagna ’68 portrays different fronts of the anti-Franco struggle. My analysis focuses on the circulation of the film in heterogeneous contexts: Italy, the Leipzig Festival, the underground distribution network El Volti in Barcelona, and the Cineclub Vrijheidsfilms in the Netherlands. I interrogate the different practices, mediations, and objects involved in the transnational movements of the film, illuminating how Spagna ’68 fueled complex imaginaries of internationalist and anti-fascist solidarity as it moved through material and affective networks.</jats:p>
