Abstract

Abstract
As the closing point of the section on the integration and dissemination of practice-based evidence, this chapter proposes a model to foster the implementation of measurement-based care (MBC) and feedback as part of clinical routine. Called the Golden Thread Feedback Framework, the model has two parts. The first part, “inside-out,” focuses on how the clinician and client use MBC and clinical feedback. It describes how this tool engages patients, guides clinical conversations, and informs clinician behaviors. The second part, “outside-in,” looks at the broader system. It considers internal organizational structures, and external healthcare system factors. This part connects MBC and feedback to organizational learning and leadership, supporting care quality and health system improvement efforts. The chapter concludes by urging the field of practice-oriented research to build new capacities for collective action and learning.
