<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title> <jats:p>Haiti was one of the first countries impacted by HIV and remains the Caribbean nation with the highest number of people living with HIV (PLHIV). Programs offering antiretroviral therapy (ART) have been scaled up progressively to the national level since international funding was made available in the early 2000s, leading to a significant deadline in AIDS-related deaths. Testing and treatment sites increased dramatically between then and now, and ART has been recommended for all PLHIV since 2015. Disparately impacted groups include adolescents, young adults, and key populations including sexual minority men, sex workers, and incarcerated people. While mother-to-child transmission (MTCT) of HIV has declined, children living with HIV are still far less likely to be on ART than are their adult counterparts. Additionally, widespread poverty, political instability, and national disasters have all presented challenges for maintaining services and advancing public health.</jats:p>
