Abstract

This volume serves as an invaluable resource, offering thoroughly analysed, evaluated, and distilled information on the latest advancements in organometallic, coordination chemistry and application of transition metal complexes in catalysis as well as emerging fields. With the ever-growing volume of information, researchers often struggle to stay current with the literature in their domain.
The expertly curated reviews in this volume cover a broad range of topics, including the synthesis of transition metal vinylidenes and their roles as catalytically active species, an update on the few examples available to-date of isolated dimetallocenes, the synthesis and application of earth-abundant catalysts in hydrosilylation reactions, the use of chelating organometallic ligand frameworks for analysing C(sp3)–H bond strengths, the role of alkali-metals on low-valent anionic complexes of group 13 elements, the synergism and interplay between the NHC–Cu fragment and main group element complexes, and the synergistic hybrid function of organometallic catalysts in ionic liquids.
This volume can and should be considered an essential reference for researchers in both academic and industrial settings. It provides updates on advances in organometallic chemistry and its relationship with other fields, such as main group chemistry, coordination chemistry and catalysis.
