Corpus Analysis of Academic Language

<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title> <jats:p>This entry reviews key topics and methods in corpus‐based analyses of academic language, addressing both written and spoken communication. It highlights the range of variation across disciplines, registers, student levels, and research article sections, as well as the diversity of methodological approaches, which include manual, automatic, and statistical analyses employing both univariate and multivariate methods.</jats:p>
