Abstract
<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title> <jats:p>Validity is an important consideration in all research studies, but it is especially important for mixed methods research studies. There are not many frameworks or guidance for researchers on assessing validity. This article presents nine available frameworks for understanding validity in mixed methods research. Hopefully this information will assist researchers in better understanding and using the concept when conducting mixed methods studies.</jats:p>
